Our curriculum is planned every year in consultation with in-house teaching staff and external consultants. It is designed keeping in mind trends at the national as well as state level and intends to make sure that our students are competitive at all levels.
It covers English and Indian languages, Social sciences, and Arithmetic as well as Applied sciences and is aimed towards step-by-step cognitive development of students.
Again it seeks to make the learning process enjoyable and promote genuine interest in the subjects rather than rote learning.
Our teaching methodology stresses on grasping of concept rather than rote learning by promoting healthy discussion between the teacher and the students. These are aided by audio-visual learning, laboratory work and even excursions etc. wherever necessary.
Curriculum is seen as the most important guiding material, but due importance is also given to current events and recent trends in respective discipline.
Teachers are encouraged to provide In-class demonstration using 3rd party educational kits and also assign Interesting DIY( Do-it Yourself) projects to students to enhance their interest in the subject.
We make sure that our faculty has a good understanding of the subject matter and are trained to deliver the topic in an interesting manner such that it promotes student interest.
Our Faculty encourages students to ask questions, think out of the box and delve into the subject beyond what is covered in the textbook.
Our faculty participates in training / Quality Improvement programmes conducted by school as well as other organizations. They are subjected to frequent quality audits and assessment, with an objective of helping them assess themselves and improve their teaching skills and subject knowledge.
